Wayne McLaughlin

Wayne McLaughlin is a native of Danville, VA but has been a resident of Chillicothe, Ohio for 35 years. Currently, he performs limited consulting work in the area of Organizational Performance Management. His career experience includes 17 years in various positions in nuclear facilities in Oak Ridge, TN; 15 years as Human Resources Director at the Piketon, OH Uranium Enrichment Plant; 4 years as Human Resources Director for the City of Chillicothe, and 11 years as Executive Director of Ross County Community Action. Wayne currently serves on the boards of Good Sams Food Network, the Chillicothe Transit Advisor, Burton Stevenson Children’s Trust Fund, Carver Community Center and Ross County NAACP. He is the current chair of the Ross County Reentry Coalition, and is an Associate Minister of Zion Baptist Church, Chillicothe. McLaughlin graduated from Southside High School in Blairs, VA, and received his Bachelors degree in Business and Economics with honors from Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, NC. He has been married to Gwen for almost 42 years and they have two adult daughters, LaShandra and Nikki.
