Bainbridge Fire Department
The Bainbridge Fire Department was awarded a grant from the Amelia Benner Fund to purchase needed equipment. Bainbridge residents will rest a little easier knowing that their department will breathe easier with the purchase of self-contained breathing apparatus and that they will be able to see areas of heat through smoke, darkness, with their new thermal imaging cameras.
YMCA of Ross County
The YMCA was awarded funds to purchase computers to power their SMARTboards and new Chromebooks. This new equipment will be utilized daily for the Y’s preschool and after school programs.
Pioneer School Booster Club
Pioneer School Booster Club was awarded funds to purchase sensory equipment for students with disabilities. This needed equipment drastically impacts the ability of these students to participate in learning during the day.
