Marvin Jones

Marvin Jones spent 33 years in the newspaper industry, including the last eight as publisher and editor, and more than 11 years as CEO of the Chillicothe Ross Chamber of Commerce. He has been the CEO of Goodwill of South Central Ohio based in Chillicothe since early 2016. Goodwill is a more than $8 million operation in eight counties with more than 200 employees whose mission is to help those with disabilities and challenges lead the lives they envision. The emphasis is on finding jobs for those individuals, but the mission also includes providing other services such as home and personal care and adult day services. During his stint in newspapers, Marvin was chosen for the President’s Award from the Ohio Newspaper Association and while at the chamber, he was named the Professional of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce Executives of Ohio.
