Dave Tener BSED, MBA

Dave Tener BSED, MBA is involved with several community nonprofit organizations bringing community resources together to meet multiple needs. Dave served as a charter member of Hope Clinic, providing basic, sound, quality medical care at no cost to those who have no health insurance in a climate that is accepting, authentic, and inviting for people. He also served on the Habitat for Humanity board to support their mission of building strength, stability, and self-reliance in partnership with families in need of decent and affordable housing. Dave is the former president of the local Goodwill organization serving eight counties as they worked to provide opportunities and meaning to the lives of those with disabilities or those who face adversity in some form. Previously, he served on the OSU advisory committee overseeing programming delivered by professionals to address the needs of the local community while also addressing state, national, and global issues. Dave’s career spans seven years in high school education, fourteen years in Information Technology, sixteen years in Management of Behavioral Health Organizations, six years as Executive Director of the local YMCA, and two years as Director of the Parks and Recreation Department for the city of Chillicothe.
