Virginia Riffle Scholarship Fund

The Virginia Riffle Scholarship Fund is for Chillicothe High School Graduates who are attending Ohio University – Chillicothe or Athens. Scholarship are available for traditional and non-traditional students with at least a 3.0 high school GPA. Scholarships may be renewable with a new application, but the scholarship selection committee may choose to not renew the scholarship. Funds may only be used at Ohio University in Athens or Chillicothe.

McCallum Family Scholarship Fund

The McCallum Family Scholarship Fund was established by Dr. Scott McCallum in memory of his father, John L. McCallum. John was a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and was a Certified Public Accountant by trade. Education was important to John, and this scholarship provides educational funds in his memory to senior students graduating from Chillicothe High School with at least a 3.0 GPA.

This scholarship is need-based, and preference is given to students from single-parent and no-parent households. The scholarship is automatically renewable for another three years following the initial award. Funds may be used at any accredited four-year college or university.

Chillicothe Bicentennial Scholars Fund

The Chillicothe Bicentennial Scholars Fund was established by the Chillicothe Bicentennial Commission to leave a lasting legacy of its successful and memorable celebration of Chillicothe’s remarkable history of two hundred years. Annually, scholarships are awarded to senior students graduating from Chillicothe High School in the top 25% of their class. Funds may be used at any accredited college, university or trade school.
