Scholarships Available for Adena High School Graduates

MZT Spirit Scholarship for Adena High School Graduates

The MZT Spirit Scholarship Fund for Adena High School Graduates is established by the friends and loved ones of Marsha Zurmehly Tootle. She was an incredible person that inspired the Class of 1975 to create a legacy to honor her. She had such SPIRIT and loved the Adena High School and was proud to be a Warrior! Scholarships in Marsha’s memory will be awarded to Adena High School graduates as funds are available.

Guidelines for Application

Nominee must be a graduate of Adena High School, Frankfort, Ohio.
Nominee must have not less than a 2.5 Grade Point Average (2.5 GPA on a 4.0 grading scale).
Nominee must complete an application.
Nominee must complete an educational budget, as financial need will be a consideration.
Nominee must write a self-expression synopsis (250 words or more) describing education goals, career plans, and school spirit.
Nominee shall provide transcripts from Adena High School.
Nominee shall provide two recommendations from teachers, coaches, advisors, or other community leaders.
The money may be used at any accredited college or trade school.
The money may be used for books and/or tuition. Checks will be written directly to the college, trade school, or approved entity. Any unused portion will be returned to the fund.

Adena Class of 1968 Scholarship Fund for Adena High School Graduates

The Adena Class of 1968 Scholarship Fund was established by members of the Adena class of 1968. Annually as funds are available one (1) $500 college scholarship is awarded annually to a qualified senior student graduating from Adena High School.

Guidelines for Application

Nominee must be a graduate of Adena High School, Frankfort, Ohio.
